Re: Bank of Scotland Vantage change
Is three the limit please? That's the published limit in the account T&Cs, yes. Although I was prepared to gamble with multiple TSB accounts, in the current climate (and on the off chance that BoS don't cut the rate in the foreseeable future) I'm not prepared to have a go with this one! You may...

I thought it was fairly recent...unless my memory is playing tricks.

Re: Bank of Scotland Vantage change
That is normal (and quite handy I find). Will not affect further applications - but if you want to add the next 2, i'd log in via BoS.... Lots of reports over on MSE about second and subsequent applications being unsuccessful online. Maybe consider phoning instead?...but be prepared for a 30-45 min...

Re: Account Armageddon - TSB, Llloyds, BoS, Halifax
Yes however Tesco Bank is one of the few that haven't made any recent changes, so they may yet decide to reduce the balance/rate for interest payments. I speculated elsewhere that they may even leave the rate where it is, but limit new applicants to one account going forwards. After all, for most p...

I haven't had the email myself, but the one I've seen reproduced elsewhere seems to say you can switch into an existing account.

Me too. Best case (if we keep them all) is £8.5K. Worst case (if they cut to one each plus joint) is £29,500.

There's no (published) limit to the number of each you can have.

Re: 'Spare' MBNA Card?
I did the same and retained a £500 limit secondary MBNA card a few years ago. Workable offers never came and because I didn't use the card they closed it, without giving me the option to start to use it and keep it.
So I'd say if you do keep it make sure you use it!

Re: Co-op account opportunity
Sadly not a new offer / eligibility is still linked to not having already received a switching incentive from them since January 2014: That's the theory. What happens in practice is different...or at least it was for me when I switched in early March with the same exclusion clause in the T&Cs. :D
