Mule Card

Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a zero fee or low fee mule card?

The MBNA low rate card seems to have been withdrawn although there is a coming soon messsage being displayed on their website so a similar card might be available at some point.

Thanks,
StringyBob

Re: Co-op account opportunity

Thanks for the reply cashback.

The plan is to get £5 x 6 contactless TSB payments bonus.

If you meant the 5p co-op bonus for using the debit card, I don't think I'll bother even trying with that one

Re: Co-op account opportunity

I've just opened a Co-op current account to get the £150 switch bonus (and hopefully £50 TCB). I received all the bumf in the post yesterday and noticed that you can make cash deposits at the Post Office. I was wondering if I will be able to make a deposit to the Co-op account at the Post Office usi...

Re: Halifax Monthly £6.25 ers

Shame that.

I'm the same as you with a Basic Account that I can't upgrade. I've added 4 direct debits to it and will switch to Co-op to get the £150 incentive.

Re: Halifax Monthly £6.25 ers

BTW, has anyone managed to get more than one reward account recently by upgrading online from a basic account?

I managed to do this once a while ago but it looks like Halifax have put a stop to it.

Balance Transfer Fee - Refunds

Credits cards that charge a balance transfer fee and then refund all or a percentage back. Seems to be quite common practice and I'm not sure of the reasons why. Anyway, I've recently cleared the balance of one of my cards (I'd rather not say which one - but I will give a clue later) as the interest...

Re: New cards for 2016

Thanks for replying planteria. I've been pondering today and I think I might go down the route of opening a couple of current accounts for the incentives, Co-op £150, nationwide £200 (with recommend a friend) - plus some TCB or Quidco. I should have more chance of being accepted for these than a new...

Re: New cards for 2016

Got 6k left on a TSB card that needs paying off or transferring soon. Coming up to 6 months since I last applied for the 3 cards I mentioned above. I have used the MSE eligibility checker to see what new card I might be able to get. Results were 0% chance on every card. Is that normal? Anyone got an...
