Tandem MasterCard 0.5% Cashback

This seems like a decent MasterCard cashback deal from a relatively recent entrant into the market: ⋅ 0.5% cashback on all purchases over £1 worldwide ⋅ No monthly fee ⋅ Track spending and cashback earnings in-app ⋅ No fees on purchases abroad https://www.tand...

Re: HSBC credit card £25 cashback

I have no real use for BTs these days; no debt and savings interest rates are too low to be worth the effort. Just accepted for the HSBC Advance Credit Card with £6K limit. If you have an Advance account, this card has lower BT fees than the others (0.6% min £5). That's actually the only way I could...

Re: HSBC credit card £25 cashback

I wasn't originally planning to go for this HSBC card as I don't always spend £300 in 60 days, but just realised I have car insurance and TV Licence coming up soon, so it's good timing for an easy £25 (especially with TSB 1% cashback ending this month).

Re: HSBC credit card £25 cashback

I've had a few HSBC cards previously, credit limits pretty average c. £6K-£7K IIRC. The only occasion I can remember ever having £20K+ on a new card without a credit limit match was First Direct. I expect you already have a Barclaycard. How about Nationwide? They give decent limits in my experience ...

Re: Virgin Money

Takeover by Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank Group (CYBG) agreed a couple of days ago. They appear to be keeping the Virgin Money brand and ditching their own:

Re: Aqua Reward Credit Card

Quidco works in mysterious ways sometimes. Despite my Aqua cashback originally being declined, my claim rejected and my complaint dismissed, I just received notification of Aqua £48 payable completely out of nowhere!

Naturally, I hurried to withdraw as quickly as possible... :D

Re: SunLife's Over 50 Plan Offer

Yeah, it seems pretty straightforward; they surely wouldn't want to discourage fully qualified customers from giving them decades of premiums. I've had success with many similar offers on 'term assurance' products, however I'm avoiding them lately since they now tend to have no-repeat clauses for th...

Re: SunLife's Over 50 Plan Offer

I looked at some comments on MSE after making the above post. It seems to be successful prospect, although I note that the incentive has varied in recent years (previously £100 or goods valued up to £120 have been offered) on a downward trend, whilst the minimum number of payments to qualify for the...
