Credit card surcharges banned!

From Saturday you should no longer be charged a fee for opting to pay via credit or debit card - but companies will still be able to add booking or admin fees as long as they also apply to other forms of payment. https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/cards/2018/01/cards-fees-to-be-banned-from-satu...

Accepted with pretty outrageous 34.9% APR but don't know credit limit yet. Hope it tracks!

Aqua Reward Credit Card

Just spotted this - £48 cashback for accepted applications - ends today:
https://www.quidco.com/aqua-reward-credit-card/

They give low limits and holding this card would likely block applications for an Amazon card but for the chance of £48 for very little effort, I think it's worth a try!

Yeah, it would have to work with gift card purchases for me to get anywhere with those spending targets!

Re: Amazon Credit Card

They obviously love you! :-)

I presume your card is equivalent or similar to the £25 fee card, even if you don't pay the fee!
