fair enough. MBNA and Barclaycard are usually my first ports of call.. perhaps Virgin in the mix now though, too.

yes.. better than nothing. but for 6 months, perhaps it's better so spend on a card that generates cashback/points and accept clearing in full after 1-2 months.

it is up to you of course, but i wouldn't. i would create a +ve balance for a lower BT fee rather than a higher MT fee.

agreed that it is a good deal regardless.. but no, the BT can be actioned even if there is no debt with the account receiving the funds. in theory the provider takes the view that the funds should be returned. in reality, ime - and you can never be sure, that positive balance can be moved to your st...
