Re: Bank of Scotland Vantage change

@sarah Be careful, they worded it funny. I found this https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2019/07/lloyds-and-bank-of-scotland-to-cut-current-account-interest-on-u/ Looks like it works differently to the tiers that Lloyds used to do, i. e. not the whole balance. If you have £5000 you will get an e...

Re: Santander RAF

I decided to keep contact to a minimum, so used the option to switch while signing up for a new account. Plan is/was to sign up for new accounts for each time. I'm doing this with 3 others. so far i've had 50 and GF has had 50, that's 100 in my amazon account. should be due another 50 soon, and GF P...

Re: Hot UK Deals

I do Matched Betting, I made £500 on the Cheltenham festival this year.
But you need peace and quiet when you do it, so no mistakes are made.
And if gambling is addictive for you, then stay away.

Re: Santander RAF

Interestingly it says up to 5 people a year can be referred, but also has a cut off date of 18/06/2019, so it may be an offer that keeps getting extended, or starts and stops.

I think I'll try keeping a spreadsheet of accounts refers between 4 or 5 people, see if they will trace that.

Re: Raisin £50 incentive

We are still waiting for ours. However we received an email asking us to upgrade our account to a starling raisin account. I ignored it as it doesn't benefit us, now we have been sent a reminder, and been offered a £10 incentive to upgrade. I'm worried if i take it, it might affect the £50 i haven't...

Re: HSBC Credit Card(s)

I thought about it some more.
When the BT Card is paid off, I could request the whole limit be transferred to the mule card, and close the BT card.
Then I'll leave it a few months, and apply for a new one, and I can request the large limit on the mule card to be transferred to the new card.

HSBC Credit Card(s)

I have 2 MBNA credit cards 1 is a balance transfer running until Jan 2020. The other is a mule card, currently AMEX but will be changing to Visa i think. The balance transfer card has a limit of £10,000, recently increased by MBNA, because I'm a good boy. The Mule card has a limit of £500 reduced at...

Re: Raisin £50 incentive

I saw this too, seems like a good offer.
According to the MSE site it advised opening yesterday to lock in the current rate 1.95, but hold off investing as interest rates may change today.

So I'll let you know how I get on too.
I did for myself and GF.

TSB refer a friend

Just noticed this when logging in.
£75 each when you refer someone.
Can refer up to 5 people, as long as they don't have a TSB account.
