they did.. there were account transfer incentives, including at one stage a payment linked to the number of dogs a customer had.

it's a nice deal, but i find very places that i can't spend Amex, and those that don't i want to use my Barclaycard Visa.. spending on a debit card is a little anti-stooze for my liking .

i'm not sure why i'm being declined.. other than that i have moved house twice in the past year, and i do have a lot of available credit. i bank with HSBC and Lloyds and put decent money through the accounts each month.
