could look at a Balance transfer to another credit card.. pushing it into credit, and then ask for the money to be wired to your current account. i have never done a Money transfer, i've always used BTs. ime Barclaycard, MBNA and Lloyds have always passed on a + balance.

indeed, and having had an account with FD way back, i have found them resisting me since. £500/m with the HSBC stable is good enough for me.

just set up a new Nationwide RS. now have just 1k/m via HSBC/M&S/Nationwide. only bothering with accounts that pay 5%+.

i Think it ends today, so there's no point me carrying my TSB card again tomorrow.. but TSB are very unsure. all they can do is ask me whether i originally had the Plus account, or had a Classic and upgraded it later.. ie. push my query back to me. seems like keeping £1.5k at 3% with TSB and £5k at ...
