Lloyds club and the 'free fivers' have had their rates reduced, but no news on BoS vantage so maybe this 15k at 3% is safe for a while. Fingers crossed.

Obviously not good news on lloyds / fivers

It's been a few months on those I think. I need to check I still have interest today, I.e. Are all mine correct.


From the title of your post I was concerned about an interest rate drop... sort of expecting one this year.

MSE seem to be part way through a new tool which includes experian scores and the usual application percentages but will soon include experian reports... I've not signed up yet but will have a read over the weekend

No. The benefit in kind means you need to pay take on it if it less than the official rate. That's 3% currently. So you pay tax at your marginal rate between the official rate and the rate you have to pay the company. Eg a loan at base rate 0.25%, if your marginal rate is 40%, then you would get 1.3...

March I think. Before the new rules came into effect, but I have set up the 2x DDs since then ready for a hopeful third year in 2017.
