Re: Nectar

maybe i'm old-fashioned, but having apps for different retailers doesn't appeal..

so Esso are now offering Nectar points, BP have their own loyalty scheme now, what are Shell doing, has that changed too?

Re: Metro Bank

the shiny new branch in Birmingham opens on friday.
it's a prime spot, and looks very impressive.
i don't see anything that tempts me to become a customer though.

Re: Bank of Scotland Vantage change

yes, it wasn't That sneaky though.. it's clear in their letter. i've tended to keep £4/5k in ClubLloyds, and that's been handy as the origin and destination of my 'round robin' funds -- but i'm planning to stash more away with a local Co-op and run my current accounts pot a lot leaner, even if it me...

Re: Business Banking

i don't really need branch access - one of our companies has never handled a penny of cash since it was formed in 2004. but i do like to have monthly paper statements.

Business Banking

I have banked with HSBC for years, with no real problems. I have two business bank Current Accounts, and the account fees are edging up from £5.50/m to £6.50/m. I'm wondering about moving away, and i can see that Metro Bank offer a fee free account, as long as £5,000 is retained in the account. that...

Re: Regular Savers

i've just realised you meant Club Lloyds Monthly Saver, 2.5%. i haven't bothered with that.
Club Lloyds Current Account paying 1.5% works for me though.

Re: Regular Savers

i'd say that's sensible.. i didn't have RSs with any of those anyway, but i too plan to retain Club Lloyds. i find it to be a useful current account.
only RSs i have are at 5%: HSBC, M&S, Nationwide, along with various monthly DDs in to Friendly Societies and a Credit Union.

Re: Extra TSB classic accounts

i don't have any accounts with Tesco at all nowadays.
all of my c/as are linked to MonBS and POBOS, along with other DDs to FSs, our CU, Ecology etc.
i don't envisage closing ClubLloyds or TSB Classic any time soon.
