I got approved for a halifax for 40 months, but sadly with a low limit of £2600
I also enjoyed getting my free experian report from barclaycard this month. It wasn't a click and go experience, you have to wait 24 hours from requesting it, but still... I got a score of 999

Re: How did you start Stoozing? And how has it evolved?
Apologies for my ignorance but can I ask what is meant by fast Stoozing? Maybe we can set up a glossary page somewhere for all the Stoozing terms lol. The website used to hold a load of information and guides. But unfortunately we now require an FSA certificate as proof we are trained in financial ...

Re: Closed account
They are encouraged if not legally required now to help you with your finances, like closing accounts down. They will do the same with current accounts and savings I think!

I am recruiting people to give them a delete button, so there will be more than just me monitoring it. This new forum was meant to be much more secure. So I am upping the account creation meth...

Re: New CC application, should I lower existing card limit and apply at bank with existing accounts?
Lower limits only really have an effect when the sum of all your limits is far superior to your income, or the minimum payments would be difficult to do. eg 25,000 at 1% min payment is £250 a month. If after mortgage etc you don't have £250, then banks won't want to lend you more money. Also the ban...

Re: Best current account - leaving Santander
The Natwest seems very similar, 3% on most household bills, and a credit card with no fee (as a current account holder) with 1% on most other things. The fee is less, so if you are't getting the interest on high balances is seems on the surface a good swap. If nothing else I would be happy to show s...

Re: MBNA / Fluid Card Question
Always my favourite. A lot is going to Virgin, and they are generous too, but yes to your question, they tend to merge credit limits.
