Re: PayPal Offers
I've just been reading the ratings for the ESSO App on the Play Store........It seems like you have been luckier than some Sarah! A few innocent, but unfortunate, folk have apparently received letters from the police being accused of driving off without paying for their fuel when using this App. Yik...

Re: Raisin £50 incentive
Just a quick update to say that both my wife's and my own Raisin £50 bonuses were paid into our nominated accounts today. This was well within the 60 day timeframe that was promised initially - in fact it was around half of that time. We were even sent e-mails to confirm that the bonuses were to be ...

Re: Raisin £50 incentive
It looks like the rather generous Raisin one-off new customer bonus of £50 for deposits of £1k and above has been changed for people making an application from now on. I cut and pasted the following from their website today. "Whether you're new to Raisin or applying for your next fixed term dep...

Re: Regular Savers
I've just made an appointment with Virgin Money so that I can open the newest iteration (Issue 12) of their Regular Savings account. This latest offering pays 3% which is an improvement over preceding issues, but what a blooming faff having to actually turn up in branch in person to open it. I've be...

Re: Raisin £50 incentive
Sarah, it's obviously early days with me for this but I've been really quite impressed so far. Before I invested, I rang their customer support for a chat about what to expect from them and how things would progress. They sounded professional, knowledgeable, matter of fact, and helpful in a non-push...

Raisin £50 incentive
I've been tempted by a £50 incentive for new customers signing up to and funding a new fixed term savings product through "Raisin", a UK Savings Marketplace. I've gone for a £1k punt (that is the minimum to qualify for the incentive) in a 1.95% 1 year fixed term ICICI account. Further deta...

Re: Co‑operative Bank Everyday Rewards
Many thanks for spotting and posting this Sarah! Mrs Preston and I have dusted off our existing, long time unused, Coop current accounts and gone for this. I missed the convenience of the Tesco Internet Saver DD creating facility, but where there's a will there's a way! ;) Got to like the potential ...

Re: Virgin Money
I've got my fingers crossed here hoping for the announcement of a new Virgin branded, Yorkshire/Clydesdale 2014/15 style, £150 a pop, multiple new account opening incentive.

Re: SunLife's Over 50 Plan Offer
Thanks for those useful thoughts Sarah. Unfortunately, I do fit the age criteria. ;) With these plans you actually get to pick the level of the premium you want to pay. There is no health questionnaire - just name, address, db, tel no, how much you want to pay, and bank dd mandate stuff. The fact th...
