Re: Tesco 0% 40mths BT 2.69% fee

40months is tasty.. it's a good deal. but ime Tesco are cautious limit-wise, and so i still think MBNA and Barclaycard are likely to be the better homes for our long-term stoozing debt.

Re: Credit scores

i only ever use noddle. and ignore the 'out of 5' score.. just check that all details are correct & up to date (accepting that card updates can take a few weeks).

Re: Best Spending Card to back up Amex Cashback?

with you Sarah.. key is that the Mastercard/Visa provider do consider the payment to AsdaMoney to be a 'purchase'. if they do, we're batting.

Re: Best Spending Card to back up Amex Cashback?

good thinking Sarah. i cleared my first month's spending on Asda yesterday, by FP from HSBC c/a. i should have used it as a test case really.. diverting my Amex backup (Barclaycard Cashback Visa) spending on to Asda to then clear it by paying with my Barclaycard each month, seems my best option. unl...

Re: Best Spending Card to back up Amex Cashback?

good news Sarah. i had to raise a claim, which didn't work as it said that the account number could only be 4 digits, and wouldn't accept the first 4, or the last 4.. but in fairness CS was spot on when i sent a support message, and now showing as 'Claim Processing'. should be ok. made a £3odd purch...

Re: Best Spending Card to back up Amex Cashback?

i seem to have bagged the Asda card afterall, as i've received a PIN today.. so will claim £25 via QC when i have the card number. QC saying my £25 is due for Nationwide Select c2nd May, and there should be £25 from Nationwide too. and HSBC paid out £25 and closed. it is paid to current account rath...

Re: Under the stairs Snug

seemed so from the quick glance i took..
i still think the main stooz opportunity is the Balance Transfer.. for me pretty much focused on 'working with' MBNA and Barclaycard over the years.
Cashback, focused on Amex, compliments that.
the rest is just bits and pieces to compliment the above.

no, but perhaps just proceed and then ask them to merge the online banking later?

Re: Stoozing an overdraft.

i don't see why not.. although ensure that the T&Cs don't specify that you have to pay in a minimum amount each month, for example.. if you do, just move the money from Lloyds to Co-op and back one day each month
