An interesting tip from HUKD:

Amazon CC doesn’t charge interest if you pay the full balance. You can top up Revolut and it is a purchase not a cash advance like most cards. I now earn Amazon points for taking cash out to spend in the pub.

yes, that's an interesting concept. the first point is fairly standard, but i wonder which other cards might allow you to 'purchase' cash withdrawals.. and i wonder whether i might find revolut useful.
