there is a new branch being opened near to us..
are folks here happy customers of Metro Bank?
are there still incentives offered, in-branch, for account switches?

I don't think they ever had incentives, although some products initially had better terms than they do now.

they did.. there were account transfer incentives, including at one stage a payment linked to the number of dogs a customer had.

Oh, fair enough. I never heard about that or did a transfer. I don't associate with any dogs.

haha nor do i. but i know a man who has about 20, and he did quite nicely as a result.

the shiny new branch in Birmingham opens on friday.
it's a prime spot, and looks very impressive.
i don't see anything that tempts me to become a customer though.
