Business Banking

Postby planteria » Thu Jul 18, 2019 2:37 am

I have banked with HSBC for years, with no real problems.
I have two business bank Current Accounts, and the account fees are edging up from £5.50/m to £6.50/m.
I'm wondering about moving away, and i can see that Metro Bank offer a fee free account, as long as £5,000 is retained in the account. that's not bad - and actually we usually keep more than that in the account.. but having to leave that much idle seems wasteful.
Any other ideas?

Do you need branch access? If not, you might want to consider https://www.starlingbank.com/ - especially if you are comfortable banking via an app

interesting idea gt
i don't really need branch access - one of our companies has never handled a penny of cash since it was formed in 2004. but i do like to have monthly paper statements.
